Beginner's Photography Workshop

If you love photography and the creativity it sparks in you or maybe you have a new camera but are stuck in 'auto' then this workshop is for you.

I guide you through camera care & technical skills that will set you up with a strong knowledge of the basics. Learn all about how to compose your photos so they look more striking and pleasing to the eye. And practice practice practice!

With my help & knowledge you will have the confidence to experiment, improve your photos and most of all, have fun.

What we will cover:
Tips for camera care and operation
Focus control
Different shooting modes - get off Auto!
White Balance - get the colours right in your photos
ISO - set your camera for different light conditions
Depth of field - sharp and soft backgrounds
Shutter speed - great for shooting movement
Magical photo composition techniques
Correct lenses for different styles of photography

What to bring?
Your DSLR or mirrorless camera, lenses, camera bag and instruction manual.
Pens, paper and water bottle.

Morning and afternoon tea included.
BYO lunch.
