DESCRIPTION:
We are lucky to live in a city with one of the finest zoological gardens in the world Taronga Zoo is the nation's leading zoological garden, featuring Australia's finest collection of native animals and a diverse collection of exotic species. It is the perfect place to practice wildlife and nature photography techniques.
What makes Taronga something special is its location. It is situated on elevated land along the waterfront, in one of the most beautiful vantage points on Sydney Harbour overlooking Sydney Cove, the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.
This Sydney wildlife photography workshop will appeal to all photographers wishing to improve their technique.
We cover such things as the best gear for specific subjects. For instance when we are photographing creatures such as Iguanas... compact cameras are fantastic but not so good for prowling tigers where you need fast shutters speeds.
This workshop is suitable for anyone, with any camera and at any level as we teach you how to adapt your technique to optimise your skill and camera equipment level.
Some of the living creatures which we will be photographing include: Snow Leopard, Himalayan Tahr, African Lion, Sumatran Tiger, Meerkat, Orang-utan, Kodiak Bear, Aldabra Giant Tortoise, Andean Condor.Black-necked Stork, Little Pied Cormorant, Red Kangaro Red-necked Wallaby, Emu, Koala, Australian King Parrot, Crimson Rosella, Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo, Eastern Blue-tongued Lizard, Southern Leaf-tailed Gecko,Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat, Red Kangaroo, Leopard Seal, Dingo, Tasmanian Devil, Freshwater Crocodile, Komodo Dragon, Frilled Lizard, Green Iguana, Gila Monster, Green Tree Frog, Green-winged Macaw, Razor-billed Curassow, Sun Bear, Pygmy Hippopotamus, Brazilian Tapir, Common Zebra, Giraffe, Bongo Barbary Sheep, Ostrich, Chimpanzee, Western Lowland Gorilla, Asian Elephant, Silvery Gibbon, Francois' Langur, Mueller's Gibbon, Red Panda.
