Beginner level
Describes courses tailored to suit individuals who typically use only the automatic settings of their digital camera and have minimal understanding of the advanced functions of their camera.

Intermediate level
Describes courses tailored to suit individuals who have moved beyond the automatic settings of their digital camera and have an understanding of the advanced functions of their camera, but who are looking to advance their understanding of photographic techniques.

Advanced level
Describes courses tailored to suit individuals who are comfortable with all or most of the functionality of their camera and are looking for assistance with a particular aspect of photography.

Professional level
Describes courses tailored to suit individuals who have significant experience in photography, are perhaps already engaged in photography at a commercial level, and are looking to add specific skills to their repertoire.

Special interest
Describes courses that are focussed on particular styles, genres or subjects of photography that are accessible to photographers of varying levels of experience.
