INTRODUCTION TO DSLR PHOTOGRAPHY PROGRAM

This course is ideal for students new to DSLR photography.  Starting at the very basics, students learn the functions and operations of their digital cameras, lenses, ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture and basic light.  This course is a pre requisite to introduction level 2 which continues with Flash, Practical Lighting, Composition and a full Saturday workshop

Students undertake 5 evening classes of 3 hours each beginning at the very basics and working their way through camera functions and operations, lenses, exposure, histograms, aperture, shutter speed and ISO and light. Students complete weekly shooting assignments for open class critique throughout their course. 

At the completion of this unit students will understand their camera operations and begin to use light, exposure, focal length  to create exciting and sharp clear images.  

Student receive a certificate at the completion of the unit and are invited to join advanced courses if they wish. 

Enrol today, numbers are limited to 10 students in each intake. 

Courses are held at our professional photographic studios in Alexandria 

The institute is an affiliate of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and all our lecturers are practicing commercial professionals. 

Payment plans are available from $56.90 per week
